Day eighteen of the Paraguay River Expedition, at Paso de la Patria, Corrientes, Argentina, 15 September 2026. A day on the river with Andrés Martínez and Natalia Silva of the Golden Dorado Conservation Coalition, fishing and learning about their work on the dorado (Salminus brasiliensis), the migratory predator whose range depends on the same river connectivity the expedition has been surveying. The Jaguar Rivers Initiative is an alliance of Rewilding Argentina, Fundación Moisés Bertoni (Paraguay), Nativa (Bolivia) and Onçafari (Brazil).
